Customizing Screens Used in Secret Desires
Its possible to change the appearance of many screens used in the game. This allows you to completely personalize the game to suit you and your
partner’s aesthetic desires. Customizing a Screen
Follow the procedure below to customize any screen used during game play 1. Display the screen that you want to customize. You might need to run through a test game to do this. 2. Right click on the screen to make the “pop up menu” appear as shown below: 3. To change the background image, carefully move the mouse pointer to Background Image and click the pop up menu selection with the left mouse button. The Background Picture Dialog will
appear as shown below: 4. Browse for a background picture in the normal way consistent with Windows applications. When you find the picture that you want to use double click it to select it. The new background will automatically be applied as shown below: Note: It is important to ensure that the picture you select is the correct size and aspect - i.e., it is neither too wide or too tall. The free image modifying utility Faststone Photo Resizer is a useful program for making your pictures the correct shape and size. 5. To change the border color right click on the screen again and select Border Color from the pop up menu. The color chooser dialog will be displayed as shown below: 6. Select a color from the Basic Colors or click Define Custom Colors to view the custom color picker as shown below. Select or create the color you want by double clicking it or pressing the OK button to continue. 7. The modified screen is shown now with the new background image and the modified border
color, as shown below: 8. To modify the color of text items on the screen right click on the screen to display the pop up menu and select Choose Text Color. The color dialog is displayed as shown below: 9. Select a color from the Basic Colors or click Define Custom Colors to view the custom color picker as shown below. Select or create the color you want by double clicking it or pressing the OK button to continue.
10. The new text color is applied and the screen is displayed again as shown below: Removing Background Picture
Its possible to remove a background picture altogether by selecting Clear Background Image from the pop up menu. Restoring Text Color
Its possible to restore the text color to the default settings by selecting Restore Text Color from the pop up menu. Saving Changes
Note that all changes are automatically saved when they are applied. Changing Many Screens at Once
